Homosexuality:
What Does the Bible Say?

Article 5

VII. Some say, "Christians are hypocritical, calling homosexuals sinners when they are sinners too!" Yes, we are all sinners. Yes, some Christians are hypocrites. Yes, hypocrisy is a sin condemned in the Bible. But all Christians are not hypocrites any more than all lawyers are ambulance chasers or all politicians are crooks. Some just want to make certain that people know the full weight of their decisions.

VIII. Finally, if you have read this all the way through, especially with an open mind, I appreciate it. May I tell you that Jesus loves you? It does not matter whether you are a homosexual, a liar, a cheat, a thief, a murderer, or whatever. Jesus loves you so much that He died for you. God does not want you to become like me or any other Christian. He wants you to become like Jesus.

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Romans 8:29

Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. Php 3:21

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall belike him; for we shall see him as he is. 1John 3:2

And God will give you the power to be like Jesus if you will let Him. Just believe that Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose from the dead; then, the best you know how, surrender yourself to God. Tell God you want Him to live in and through you. If you will surrender yourself in faith to God, He will forgive you of your sins, adopt you into His family, and give you the power to live a new life.

If I can help you by answering your questions, I would be glad to do so. I plan to post this article on my webpage, www.pastorcarldhall.org. Look under the articles section.

Please note that I have no desire to argue with people over what the Bible says. If you do not agree with the Bible, that is your option. Arguing with me will not change what it says. Even so, I am glad to communicate with you as long as you have a legitimate desire to understand the Bible and are courteous.

Praying for God's blessings,
Pastor Carl D. Hall
